Carson has always wanted to be a vet. He loves animals. Knows more about animals than many adults.He had a special treat last week. Perry's sister, Eileen, is a vet tech. She made arrangements for Carson to come in and shadow the vet for a few hours one morning. Carson has been looking forward to this all summer.
The only week that worked out was last week (right when we came home from Maine). Perry took both kids and they spent a few days in Chicago....leaving me at home ALONE! :)
Carson had a great time with Aunt Eileen and Dr. Sakas. He got to see some really neat things and really enjoyed being a Vet in training for the day!
And me? Well, let's just say I really needed and enjoyed my time all alone for a few days but enjoyed having the gang home again.

How wonderful that Carson was able to spend some time seeing a vet in action. He has a great aunt to help him see this wish come true.
