Normally, I hate every picture that includes me. I just focus on the areas of my body/face that I hate and that's all I see. Very vain, I realize, but that's my reality and as a results, we have very few pictures that include me. I'm trying to get over it so my kids have pictures of me (the good, the bad and the ugly!) as they get older. I don't want them to look back at pictures of their childhood and not think I was involved just because I wasn't in the picture (although I'm usually the one TAKING most of the pictures!).
So, in all it's glory, here is a picture that I love of Elise and me.

It's so hard to come to terms with who & what we are & where we are at a point in our lives. I also have a hard time with pictures of myself with Erin. I think this pic of you & Elise is beautiful!
Girl - you look great! Just think of the memories your making for Elise and Carson. Don't be so hard on yourself - really! (This is from a person who HATES having her picture taken!!LOL)
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I have very few pictures of myself with the girls. In the five years that I have been a mother, I can probably count the pictures of myself with the girls on two hands. That NEEDS to change.
I LOVE that picture of you and Elise. It deserves to be framed.
I agree with everyone else's comments all the way around....hate pics of myself, trying to get more of me with the kids...and this picture of you and Elise is really beautiful! You are a beautiful mom, inside and out!
