My eight

I've been tagged by 3 folks to do this. I was tagged on a few things a few weeks back and I apologize for not getting to them...bad timing.

1. Evenings when my husband is home
2. Spending time alone with each of my children
3. Fridays on the weeks I work a flex schedule (like TOMORROW!)
4. Quiet time
5. Reading a good book
6. Catching up on my favorite blogs
7. Spending time with family (mine and my in-laws)
8. Holidays

8 Things on my wish list:

1. Better job security for everyone
2. Bring our soldiers home
3. More hearts open to adoption
4. Lose just 10 pounds and get in better shape
5. Travel to China as a family to sight see
6. Feel “finished” fixing up the house
7. Win the lottery so we can afford to fix up the house
8. A washing machine/dryer that will sort, wash, fold and put away the clothes
   

8 Things I did yesterday:

1. Painted more trim in my dining room
2. Spilled paint all over my kitchen counters, cabinets and floor
3. Managed to do homework alone with 2 kids without losing my patience!
4. Taught my last class for the semester
5. Wrote a final exam
6. Decided against ordering a Lands End down vest (sighhh of regret)
7. Packaged up all the gifts that need to be mailed.
8. Froze my online banking account by not remembering the password…again (it's pretty sad when you are on a first name basis with the "un-freeze" lady at the bank!)

8 Favorite Restaurants:

1. Cheesecake factory (thankfully, none around here!)
2. Lou Malnati’s (Chicago…none around here)
3. Heid’s ( Syracuse …none around here)
4. St. Louis Bread Company (my “go-to” lunch option)
5. Sacred Grounds (vegetarian "deli"!)
6. Red Lobster
7. ???
8. ??? (boy, we need to get out more, I can't think of more places that I go to eat food I enjoy and not just out of convenience...or maybe I just have warped taste buds!)
