Sometimes I get so caught up in the here and now that I need to relish in the memories of the past. This picture was taken sometime in late 2003. Elise had only been home a few months. Most pictures of her from that time have that same stoic look on her face. I just love pictures of Carson with that smile on his face. :)I am so blessed to have the privilege of rasing these two wonderful kids.

I so love flashback pics! Whenever I take out our photo albums from back then, I too am struck by the same look on Erin's face. It took her almost 6 months to smile on her own. Now we can't stop her from smiling & giggling.
